Initiatives — The Wynn and Rick Wagner Foundation

In carrying out its mission of helping those disenfranchised because of their sexual orientation, the Wynn and Rick Wagner Foundation has adopted the following initiatives —
 
ÆGiS   The Global Library   The Gay Fund
ÆGiS is the lar­gest web­site in the world. Its o­ver 2-mil­lion pa­ges are de­voted to HIV and AIDS. It is the “jour­nal of re­cord” of the pan­demic.

In the past, the Foun­da­tion pro­vided soft­ware and engi­neer­ing. To­day, ÆGiS is a grantee of the foun­dation.

   GLOBAL.ORG is one of the old­est do­mains on the inter­net.

It is a non-denomi­na­tion spi­ritual li­brary that in­cludes litur­gies, in­struction and es­says.

Global.org is mainly (but not exclusively) Christian.

   The Gay Fund is the new­est init­ia­tive of The Wynn and Rick Wagner Foun­da­tion.

Its goal is to pro­vide par­tial scho­lar­ships to col­lege-bound gay teen­agers with excep­tional intel­lects who are “out of the clo­set.”
